The Merliner Weisse (aka Berliner Weisse) Unveiling
and St Patricks Day Celebration
The right way to do green beer!

Come celebrate St Patricks Day at BBC with a unique beer brewed especially for this Irish holiday (except the beer is German!) Named after our favorite assistant brewer, Adam Watson and his love for Dungeons and Dragons!
BBC is the only one in town doing green beer the correct way!

Merliner Weisse description:
The flavors are refreshing and distinctive with a sharp, mouth-puckeringly sour, but very cleaning. The beer is sometimes known as the Champagne of beer. Berliner Weisse is a top-fermented wheat beer made with traditional warm-fermenting yeasts. They have a rapidly vanishing head and a clear, pale golden straw-colored appearance. The sour and acidic notes are maybe a little reminiscent of a lambic or gueuze, and the practice of adding fruit syrups to the beer adds to the comparison. The Reinheitsgebot prevented any tradition of adding fruit during the brewing process but Berliners get around this by adding woodruff (Waldmeister) or raspberry (Himbeere) syrup to reduce the sharpness and acidity of the beer. To stay to tradition, we will serve Merliner Weisse with your choice of woodruff or raspberry syrup.
